Do you upload my diagrams?

No. Preview and export use Mermaid in your browser. Drafts may be stored in localStorage under the mermaid prefix. Share/embed links put the diagram in the URL hash — there is no server diagram storage.

SVG vs PNG vs PDF?

Prefer SVG for docs and scaling. PNG (try 2×) is better for slides and chat. PDF in v1 is a rasterized A4 page — not a full vector print pipeline.

Can I paste from ChatGPT?

Yes. Use Clean Mermaid to strip fences and prose, then open the Editor or Validate.

How do share links and iframes work?

From the Editor, use Share / Embed to copy a URL or iframe snippet. Recipients decode the diagram in their browser. Very large diagrams may exceed URL length limits — download a .mmd file instead. There is no AI or cloud sync in this version. Hosting pages must allow iframes (avoid X-Frame-Options: DENY or a CSP frame-ancestors policy that blocks mermaid.toolsworkbox.com).
