FAQ
Is SVG exported on a server?
No. Mermaid renders in your browser and the SVG markup is downloaded from the page.
Transparent vs white background?
Transparent is the SVG default (no fill behind the diagram). White inserts a full-size background rect — useful when the host page or dark viewer would otherwise show through.
