Scale vs DPI?
Scale is a base multiplier. DPI (relative to 96) further densifies pixels and is written into the PNG pHYs chunk for print-aware apps. Max width/height caps the final pixel size while keeping aspect ratio.
Transparent background?
Choose Transparent for overlays. Prefer SVG when you need perfect scaling in print.
